How the algorithm works
Where the data comes from and how we turn it into a useful price comparison
1. Multi-retailer data collection
When you search for a product, we query an index that aggregates the offers of many Italian retailers (including Amazon, MediaWorld, Unieuro, Euronics and eBay) for the same product or equivalent products, returning the price, the availability and a direct link to each offer.
2. A comparison, not just a list
On the comparison page we automatically sort the offers found for the same product, highlighting the lowest price available at that moment. You can also show only the shops that have the product in stock, or reorder the offers by price and by shop.
3. Search filters
In the search you can narrow the results by price range, brand, availability and whether there is a discount, so you reach the offers that matter to you more quickly.
4. No “pushed” offers
The order you see reflects the data we collect and the filters you set, not commercial agreements with individual retailers. For details on how we earn through some affiliate links, see the page Affiliate Disclosure.
5. Current limits
The service is under active development: coverage of retailers and product categories is constantly expanding, and the availability of the data depends on the technology provider that powers the search.
